"In the Land of Sea & Honey": Feminist Food February with Chef Charlotte Langley

In honor of Feminist Food February, come and join the Fat Girl Food Squad and Render: the Feminist Food & Culture Quarterly Magazine for “In the Land of Sea & Honey” on Monday, February 23 at 7 pm. The four-course meal will take place at Beast on 96 Tecumseth St., Toronto and will be a night to celebrate powerful females who work to create positive change in the local Toronto food scene.

Chef Charlotte Langley of Groundwork Foods and Scout Canning will be sourcing the four-course local Ontario feast through Provender with Trout from Lovell Springs in Norfolkwild greens from Marc’s Mushrooms and vegetables sourced from Cookstown Greens, Thornton, ON and Grassroots Organics, Kawartha, ON. Local beekeeper, Krystina Roman of Rosewood Estates Winery will also be pairing each course with wine. It promises to be an evening of celebration full of beautiful, fresh, local Ontario food.
